What we check, what we record, and what we will not claim

An agency is only useful if you know where its responsibility stops. These are the lines we work to, in the same order every time.

The checks we run

Supplier checks cover the trading entity, its registration details, its production capacity for your product and the references it gives us. Inspection covers quantity, workmanship, packaging and the specific points you list in the scope. Document checks compare invoice, packing list and transport documents against the goods and against each other.

What we record

Every stage ends in writing: the ranked shortlist with criteria, the inspection finding with photographs and counts, the loading record, and the final document set. Files are kept per shipment so that a question asked a year later can be answered from the record rather than from memory.

What we do not claim

We do not certify that goods meet a standard, we do not issue customs rulings, we are not a licensed customs broker in your jurisdiction, and we do not promise a clearance time, a duty rate or a saving. Classification and origin decisions belong to the authority that clears the goods, and we say so in the scope rather than after the fact.

Questions we get before the first order

Can you inspect goods made by a supplier we already use?

Yes. The specification comes from you, and the inspection is against that specification rather than against the supplier's own description of the product.

Who decides the tariff classification?

The customs authority in the destination country decides it. We prepare and cross-check the documents, and we state the classification you have given us when the goods are declared.

What happens if the inspection finds a problem?

You get the finding in writing with photographs and counts, and a recommendation on the options: rework, replacement, a price adjustment or shipping as is. The decision is yours.

Do you work with orders below a full container?

Yes. Below that level, consolidation is usually what makes the freight cost work, which is why it is one of the five packages.
